June 2026: Zhentao She Wins HKUST RedBird Academic Excellence Award and RGC Junior Research Fellowship



We are delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Dr. Zhentao She, a former PhD student and now a postdoctoral researcher in our lab. In the final year of his doctoral studies, Zhentao once again earned the prestigious HKUST RedBird Academic Excellence Award, a scholarship that recognizes outstanding academic performance and research capacity among research postgraduate students. Building on a series of successes throughout his PhD studies, he has now been awarded the highly competitive RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme (JRFS), administered by Hong Kong's Research Grants Council, which provides 24 months of funding at this pivotal early-career stage. The scheme aims to nurture top research talent and facilitate the transition into Assistant Professor or Research Assistant Professor positions, ultimately strengthening Hong Kong's research landscape.
